Lexus Car new look-LF-Gh hybrid concept,Lexus Car Image

Lexus Car:

Lexus is the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation. First introduced in 1989 in the United States, Lexus is now sold globally and has become Japan's largest-selling make of premium cars. As of 2009, Lexus vehicles are officially marketed in over 70 countries and territories worldwide. The Lexus marque has ranked among the ten largest Japanese global brands in market value. The division's world headquarters are located in Toyota, Aichi, Japan, with operational centers in Brussels, Belgium, and Torrance, California, United States.

Lexus released some teaser details, as well as photos, today of the LF-Gh Hybrid Concept that will make its world debut at the New York Auto Show next week -- a concept it bills as showing a design "that will migrate to future Lexus vehicles."

 features for new Lexus:

    * Hybrid powertrain on a new rear-drive platform. Engine and transmission not specified.
    * Touring sedan-sized interior and trunk room in a package that's a big 192.5 in. long, 73.6 in. wide and 57.1 in. high on a 112.2 in. wheelbase. That's about 7 in. shorter on a 4 in. shorter wheelbase than the current LS460 and almost exactly the current GS460..
    * LED headlights, L-shaped LED running lights and wrap-around LED tail lamps.
    * A gaping, can't-be-missed, spindle-shaped grille that Lexus says is both enhances aerodynamics and "contributes to radiator and brake duct function." In any case, it's not like the typical closed-mouth front of a hybrid. Lexus says air flows through the front inlets by the LED fog lights and exits through outlets in the rear quarter panel.
    * Minimized side mirrors and door handles for better aerodynamics.

As a result, says Lexus is that «L the" design philosophy, since 2001, a bold reconstruction of the road - at least according to the criteria usually quiet and understated from Lexus.
