Google Launches Limited Version of "Google Offers" Coupon Service....
Google developing Groupon competitor called Offers............
Google's $6 billion bid for Groupon didn't work out, but it wasting no time preparing its own competing Google Offers local advertising product. The first hints of Google Offers came out last week. Google confirmed it, calling it a "test of a pre-paid offers/vouchers program," but offered no further details. Well, we have further details, courtesy of Google's very own search engine. (When PR fails, just Google it). There is a very simple way to get a list of active Google Offers coupons. It is kind of a back door, but if you do a search for "coupons site:maps.google.com intitle:Google Offers," you can see almost 42,000 results, most of which link to individual active coupons. For example, here is one for a free yoga class in Chicago (Groupon's home turf) or another one for 50 percent off lunch at a vegetarian restaurant in Watertown, Massachusetts. You can also add an Offers gadget to your iGoogle home page which shows offers near you.
but it's a nice gadget to stick in your iGoogle and check out when deciding where to go for lunch that day. Obviously, there will be quite a few more deals once Google officially launches the service, too. Hit the link to read more.
Update: As some commenters point out, these Google Offers look very similar to Google Coupons that have been available to local businesses as a feature of Google Places for a long time. It is possible that this is a rebranding of that feature in front of a broader Google Offers product launch. The iGoogle gadget is also new.
Update 2: I’ve been able to confirm that these Google Offers are indeed the same thing as what used to be called Google Coupons. The name has changed recently, although Google still refers to them as “coupons” on its support pages. Confusing matters even more, Google is preparing to launch a pre-paid offers product also called Google Offers which will be more Groupon-like in that the deal must be paid for in advance in order to redeem it. Both will be part of the same overall product family, but Google will presumably figure out a way to distinguish between the two.

B.J. Raji
Born: 7/11/1986 New York , NY
College: Boston College
Experience: 2nd season
High School: Westwood HS [NJ]
Busari Raji, Jr. (The Freezer) (born July 11, 1986) is an American football defensive lineman for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft (9th overall). He played college football at Boston College.
Raji was selected ninth overall by the Green Bay Packers in the 2009 NFL Draft. He was worked into defensive coordinator Dom Capers' brand new 3–4 defense during the start of the Packers 2009 season, and was well known for being the new cornerstone of the future. Raji held out during the 2009 training camp and completed his deal on August 14th. Hampered by an ankle injury for the entire season, he appeared in fourteen games, starting in only one. He accumulated 25 tackles and 1 sack, resulting in a mediocre season for a first round pick.
Expected to fully contribute for the 2010 season, Raji earned the starting position as nose tackle in Capers' defense, original prospect Ryan Pickett being moved to defensive end. 2010 resulted in a breakout season for the second year first rounder. Starting in all 16 games, Raji became the foundation that was desired out of the Packer defense, accumulating 39 tackles with 6.5 sacks, along with 3 passes defended. This was a more productive season then any other nose tackle in the league, which nearly earned Raji his first Pro Bowl berth, but was instead passed upon for more known players.
On January 23, 2011, in the fourth quarter of the NFC Championship Game at Soldier Field in Chicago, Raji intercepted a pass from Bears third-string quarterback Caleb Hanie and returned it 18 yards to the endzone, marking Raji's first career interception and touchdown. [4] Throughout the 2011 postseason the Packers used Raji as a fullback in their goal-line offense, which lead to Raji nicknaming himself "The Freezer" in reference to William Perry's "The Fridge."

Jack La Lanne...?????A Fitness Guru
Jack La Lanne.....
Born: 26-Sep-1914
Birthplace: San Francisco, CA
Gender: Male
Race or Ethnicity: White
Sexual orientation: Straight
Occupation: Fitness Guru
Nationality: United States
Executive summary: Fitness guru.
Wife: Irma La Lanne (nurse, one daughter)
Daughter: Yvonne La Lanne (b. 1944, chiropracter)
Wife: Elaine La Lanne (3 sons)
Son: Daniel La Lanne (Elaine La Lanne's son, adopted by Jack La Lanne)

Son: Jon La Lanne (musician, plays guitar for Blowgun Band)
Jack LaLanne is an American fitness, exercise, and nutritional expert, celebrity, lecturer, and motivational speaker who is widely referred to as "The Godfather of Fitness". LaLanne gained worldwide recognition for his success as a chiropractor and bodybuilder, and for his incredible and prodigious acts of strength and endurance. Through his career, LaLanne has won numerous awards including the Horatio Alger Award from the Association of Distinguished Americans, and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Hall of Fame.
Jack La Lanne was a juvenile delinquent, once attacking his brother with an axe, and setting his family's house on fire. In adulthood, he blamed his youthful misbehavior on being fed too many high-sugar foods. At 15, his mother dragged him to hear a speech by nutritionist Paul Bragg. Inspired, La Lanne reformed his eating habits, eliminating everything made with white flour or white sugar, and instead ate almost nothing but fruits, vegetables, and fish for the rest of his life. Healthy foods were hard to find, so La Lanne concocted his own recipes, and by the age of 18 he owned a health-food bakery.
At 21, he opened his first gym in Oakland, California. It was 1936, and most doctors at the time warned against working out with weights, believing it could cause a heart attack or ruin a man's sex drive. Considered a crackpot at the time, La Lanne eventually became America's foremost authority on fitness. His gym grew into a chain of fitness clubs, with no reports of members dying or losing interest in sex. To add variety to his customers' workouts, he devised such now-standard equipment as leg-extension machines and weights on pulleys for lifting. Over subsequent years, La Lanne was among the first to produce protein supplements and nutrition bars.
Beginning in 1951, La Lanne hosted and produced The Jack La Lanne Show, TV's first workout program. On his show, he performed calisthenics, usually with only a chair or table ledge as 'equipment', while cheerfully pointing at the camera and urging his audience to "Get up, work out, and feel better". At first, the show aired only in San Francisco, and La Lanne had to buy the air time, as TV executives were sure nobody would want to watch him do exercises. Within a few years, the program was nationally syndicated on ABC, where millions watched La Lanne do exercises until 1985.
