This morning, Jaume Roures, Mediapro owner of the company which has the television rights for this match, announced the date of November 29 to dispute the match.
In reaching this decision Mediapro has consulted the Professional Football League and the authorities responsible for security. The coincidence of the match with the Catalan Parliament elections was really a problem because law enforcement needed to ensure security in both events.
Harmed and benefited from this decision: the first of them, and perhaps the only, are those fans who for reasons of work or agenda, preferred that match was played on a holiday day. The beneficiaries are many more: people who wanted to attend the match and on Sunday they could not having been requested by the Electoral Board to meet the polls or services involved and people wishing to follow the election results were also to decide whether or not to attend the match.
As to the time when the match is played, this is not too much influence on the movement of fans outside of Barcelona, since in both cases, Sunday or Monday, the next day is a working day.
So, all fans wishing to attend this important match can already book or purchase their tickets as soon as offered on sale.
