Punxsutawney Phil 2011, Hal saw his shadow on the 7:25, which contradicts the predictions of an early spring made by New York City, Staten Island Chuck AOS and the nation’s foremost AM groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil in Pennsylvania, which has started the tradition of 125 years.

In Nassau County, Malverne Mel has not weighed in this year after village officials canceled the 15th annual event because of an ice storm hit the area Wednesday. I’m not talking about the day Bill Murray is groundhog. 1841 was the first year where this tradition began and OSA has been happening. For people tired of blizzard in Chicago who are facing their worst storm in decades and forced the closure of a school Groundhog Day, something that hasn, AOT has happened in 12 years, they have certainly welcomed news of an early spring of Punxsutawney Phil.
